MEDICAL CODING.
Medical Coding is the conversion of a patient's healthcare procedures, medical treatments, prescriptions and equipment used by a doctor or a healthcare professional into universally accepted alphanumeric codes. These codes are taken from set of codes, mainly ICD, CPT and HCPCS.
International Classification of Diseases or ICD codes are diagnostic codes by World Health Organisation (WHO). They are used for diagnostic and reimbursement purposes to classify diseases, injuries, signs and symptoms, and other health-related information. For instance ICD Code F03.90 denotes Dementia.

These medications may include cholinesterase inhibitors, memantine, and antipsychotics. Lifestyle changes, such as social activities and exercise, may help slow down the progression of dementia. Therapies such as occupational and speech therapy may also be used to address specific symptoms and help improve quality of life.
